Jimmy Ray Adams was born on September 12, 1958 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Corby & Inez (Kennedy) Adams. He passed from this life on April 10, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, 6 months & 29 days.

Jimmy had lived in this area virtually all of his life. He worked for himself as a self-employed landscaper. Some of the many things that his family and friends will remember about him were his loves of fishing and being outdoors, how he loved to tell stories and watch storms, his devotion to being an Oklahoma Sooners fan and especially his love and commitment to his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Karen (Davis) Adams, whom he married on March 5, 1983 in Tulsa as well as by his mother; Inez Adams of Mannford, 2 daughters; Kellie & Rebecca Adams of the home, 2 sisters; Joan Roberts of Mannford & Patty Elsass of Dallas, TX, 3 brothers; Wayne Adams of Sapulpa, Bob Adams of Tulsa & Mike Adams of Benton, AR and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and 1 sister; Wanda Hollon.

Casket bearers were Eric Osborn, John Whitworth, Mike Adams, Chris Hollon, Ryan Elsass & Mike Calvert. Music was provided by Helen Williamson, Marsha Calvert & Carol Calvert.
