Carol L. Vance Albertson was born on November 3, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Nick Vance & Virginia J. (Sutton) Vance. She passed from this life on March 14, 2010 at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years, 4 months & 11 days.

Carol was a member of the Tulsa Memorial High School graduating class of 1976. She had worked for the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture but was also very active in volunteer work. She was a devoted dog lover and would often volunteer for animal shelters and was very dedicated to autism awareness and held several garage sales to raise money for the Autism Center of Tulsa.

She is survived by her parents; Nick & Virginia Vance of Tulsa, 1 daughter; Casey Ohlsson and husband Erik, of Tulsa, 1 son; Jeff Albertson and wife Jessa, of Norman, OK, 1 grandson; Nicholas Ohlsson, 2 brothers; Barry Vance and wife Karen, of Tulsa & Greg Vance and wife Nancy, of Dallas, TX, an aunt & uncle; Bill & Lynn Sutton of Broken Arrow, 2 nephews; Jeremy Vance & Stu Vance, 1 niece; Ellen Vance as well as other relatives and friends.
