Mildred F. Baughman was born on April 23, 1926 in Leonard, Oklahoma to Orvil D. & Julia (Winkler) Hughes. She passed from this life on May 15, 2006 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, 22 days after her 80th birthday.

Mildred had lived virtually all of her life in this area and had been a longtime resident of the Glenpool community. She worked many years as a housekeeper for the Bartlett Memorial Hospital in Sapulpa. When she was not working, she loved fishing, tending to her flowers, looking for bargains at yard sales, crocheting and quilting. Her greatest love though, was having her family get together so she could spend time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Baughman of March 4, 1995 as well as by 2 children; Marietta Pilant & Clinton "Bub" Baughman, 3 brothers; Charley, Orville & Earl, 1 sister; Stella and 2 great-great-grandchildren; Garrett & Cammie. She is survived by 3 daughters; Helen Anson and her husband Jack, of Sapulpa, Norma McCall and her husband Ronnie, of Glenpool & Barbara Simon and her husband Jerry, of Kiefer, 2 sons; Frank Baughman and his wife Peggy, of Kiefer & Jerry Baughman and his wife Paw, of Sapulpa, 1 niece whom she was especially close to; Margaret Harper, 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers were Curtis Reed, Chris Reed, Craig McCall, Frank Baughman, Clay Baughman & R.A. Reed. Honorary bearers were Bruce McCall, John Owen & Steve Rue.
