Mary Yvonne Beede was born on December 24, 1935 in Dawson, Oklahoma to John Thomas & Ida Mae (Sappington) Simms. She passed from this life on April 4, 2008 at her home in Haskell, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 3 months & 11 days.

Mary will be remembered as a wonderful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was always centered around her family and she always enjoyed being there for them. She was affiliated with the Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 56 years, Ben Junior Beede whom she married on March 7, 1952 in Dawson. She also leaves 2 daughters; Susan Lynette Dick and husband Charles Wayne, of Stone Bluff & Paula Mae Brown and husband Willie Dewayne, of Stone Bluff, 2 sons; Ben Richard Beede and wife Donna Jo, of Vinita & John Paul Beede of Stone Bluff, 1 brother; Jack Calvin Simms of Tulsa, 6 grandchildren; Mary Susan McVeigh, Misty Dawn Cornwell, Kristie Yvonne Porter, Keri Jo Coates, Jonathan Dewayne Brown & Jason Paul Beede, 5 great-grandchildren; Charlee Jade Parker, Tyler Lance Cornwell, Kali DeNae Porter, Logan Chase Cornwell & Harleigh Purdom and several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister; Thelma Geraldine Appleby.

Casket bearers were Jason Beede, Jonathan Brown, Rodney Beede, Mike Cox, Ronnie Cox & Marty Cox.
