Bobby Ray Bentley was born on December 22, 1929 in Gainesville, Texas to Henry Porter & Nova Ruth (Carothers) Bentley. He passed from this life on August 12, 2006 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 7 months & 21 days.

Bobby Ray had lived in the Bixby community since moving here from Enid, Oklahoma in the early 1990's when he had recently retired from his work as a car dealer. He was a 32nd degree Master Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and was a Shriner. He loved fishing and watching football and will always be remembered as a man that loved life and lived it to the fullest and as a very personable man that was easy to talk to.

He is survived by 1 son; Bobby Bruce Bentley of Bixby, 1 step-daughter; Sherry Conway of Muskogee, 1 brother; Bill Bentley and his wife Charlotte, of Bixby, 1 grandchild, 1 great-grandchild and several other relatives as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
