Anna Elizabeth Biggs

Anna Elizabeth Biggs was born on September 1, 1925 at her home in Leonard, Oklahoma to Isom & Mary (Willis) Terry. She passed from this life on March 11, 2007 in Vinita, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years, 6 months & 10 days.

Anna was the last born in a family of 11 children, 6 boys and 5 girls. She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings, the most recent being Rachel Smith, who passed on May 11, 2006. She married Willard Biggs on April 23, 1942 while he was in the Army and stationed at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri. She was a devoted wife and companion for 45 years until Willard preceded her on March 27, 1987. Anna was a charter member of the Shellenbarger Free Will Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her loves of feeding her hummingbirds, working in her yard and playing cards. She was a very gifted, avid quilter and was well known for her great pies.

She is survived by 4 children; Joyce Wood of Strang, OK, Charles Biggs and wife Alma, of Prue, OK, Clifton Biggs and wife Donna, of Strang & Kevin Biggs of Lake Charles, LA, 3 grandsons; Rex Wood, Stephen Biggs & Jerry Biggs, 5 granddaughters; Michelle Eddings, Julie Valsaint, Chandi Biggs, Diane Biggs & Amanda Biggs, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Casket bearers were Rex Wood, Stephen Biggs, Jerry Biggs, Charles Biggs, Clifton Biggs & Kevin Biggs. Music was provided by Mark Cypert & Gail Biggs.
