Calvin E. Boswell, better known as Cal, was born on June 29, 1941 to Charles Sherman Boswell and Addie Bell (Finney) Boswell. He passed from this life on Saturday, April 5, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 24 days.

Cal proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. After his honorable discharge, he went to work for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. He also worked as a security guard at Hillcrest where he met his beloved wife Sherry. Cal and Sherry enjoyed doing anything and everything together. They loved each other deeply and were blessed with two wonderful sons, and recently a grandson. Cal was a private man who never liked being the center of attention. He was formerly employed by the Department of Corrections, and currently worked for Wakenhutt Security that provided security for the City of Tulsa. He was a devoted friend to all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sherry whom he married on December 26, 1973 in Tulsa. He also leaves 2 sons; Neal W. Boswell and wife Angie of Broken Arrow, Jason T. Boswell and wife Rachel of Bixby, 1 grandson; Chase B. Boswell, mother-in-law June of Bixby, and several other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents
