Helen F. Brashears was born on January 6, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Raymond H. & Mary Helen (Farney) Brashears. She passed from this life on January 8, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 2 days after her 64th birthday.

Helen worked as an electronics assembler for LaBarge Inc. She was an avid University of Oklahoma football fan. She also loved traveling on day trips and reading.

She is survived by 2 sons; Michael Barbour and wife Carla, of Catoosa & Robert Marks of Bixby, 1 sister; Connie Richardson of Tulsa, 2 brothers; Gene Brashears of Dewey, OK & Leroy Brashears of Tulsa, 2 grandchildren; Shelby & Braxton Barbour and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother; Billy Brashears.

Honorary casket bearers were Walter David Helm, Walter Jason Helm & Marie Harders.
