Frances M. "Sis" Fleetwood Brazeal
Frances M. "Sis" Fleetwood Brazeal was born on September 22, 1912 in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma to Clyde & Bessie (Bruner) Martin. She passed from this life on September 6, 2006 in Collinsville, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years, 11 months & 15 days.
"Sis" had lived in this area virtually all of her life. She worked as a cook for the Oklahoma Steel Casting Company for over 18 years and will always be remembered as an excellent cook and was especially famous for her dumplings. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ and attended both the Bixby Downtown and Haskell churches. She also loved to quilt but her favorite activity was always spoiling her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 husbands; Rollie Fleetwood & Burl Brazeal, 1 daughter; Mary Frances "Hun" Walters, 1 son; Charles "Bub" Fleetwood, 4 sisters; Billie Morgan, Mary Morgan, Evelyn Messer & Florence Biggs and 1 granddaughter; Cathy Abril. She is survived by 5 grandchildren; Rodney Lowe, Gail Johnston, Blane Walters, Roger Walters & Lorri McVay, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, her son-in-law; J.B. Walters, her daughter-in-law; Mary Jo Fleetwood and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Casket bearers were Morris Dale O'Hern, Jeff Hamilton, Butch Brewer, Butch Bruner, Chris Buhler & Randy Biggs.
