LEO RUSSELL BREASHEARS

Leo grew up in Vian before moving to Gore and then later to Tulsa. He worked 27 years as the Office Manager for Womack Machine Supply and retired in 1997. He married his wife, Ruth, on September 24, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma. They loved to do wood crafts together and work in the garden. Leo was active in the Bixby First United Methodist Church. When he was just a boy, he learned to play guitar to accompany his brother John on the fiddle. He also later learned to play the fiddle and mandolin, all without reading music.
