Tommy Gene Burr was born on October 3, 1959 in Bakersfield, California to Bill Burr and Gilda (Hall) Burr. He passed from this life on November 21, 2009 at his home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 50 years, 1 month & 18 days.

Tommy was a longtime resident of Bixby and worked many years as a veterinary assistant for the North Forty Veterinary Clinic. When he was not working, he enjoyed model cars and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife Carmela Sue (Martin) Burr, whom he married on November 13, 1979 in Tulsa. He is also survived by 1 daughter; Misty Burr of Bixby, 2 sons; Chad Edward Burr and his fiance' Lauren & Roy Gene Burr, 2 sisters; Susan Hahn of Sapulpa & Mary of Bakersfield, California, 3 brothers; Jimmy Burr of Bixby, Ron Burr of Sapulpa & Don Burr of Eufaula, 6 grandchildren; Landon, Devin, Chad, Cheyenne, Crissey & Heaven as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers are his nephews.
