Teresa G. Calderon was born on October 15, 1919 in Donna, Texas to Theodoro Gurrero and Juana (Morales) Gurrero. She passed from this life on May 6, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years, 6 months & 21 days.

Teresa was a longtime resident of the Bixby area after moving here in 1969 from Lubbock, Texas. She was a member of St. Clements Catholic Church. While her family warmly remembers her as a wonderful homemaker, she had also worked many years for Genoff's Farms, Juniper Hill and Conrad Farms.

She married Febronio Calderon on July 19, 1943 in Donna, Texas and after more than 56 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded by 2 daughters and 3 sons.

She is survived by 1 son; Francisco Calderon, 2 daughters; Guadalupe C. Moreno of Broken Arrow & Janie Calderon of Catoosa, 1 brother; Gonzalo Gurrero of Tulsa, 1 sister; Irenia Gurrero of Tulsa, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter; Ava Parsons and several other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers are Juan Grimaldo, Gabriel Rios, Ricardo Rios, Gabriel Gonzales, Paul Calderon & Chris Rios. Honorary bearers are Colton Calderon, Francisco Calderon, Jr., Jeff Parsons & Jesse Longley.
