Celia M. Cantu was born on December 5, 1916 in Castroville, Texas to Guadalupe & Santos Martinez. She passed from this life on November 25, 2006 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 11 months & 20 days.

Celia was a longtime member of the Bixby Community and was a member of the St. Clements Catholic Church. Her family warmly remembers her as a devoted and loving homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Cantu on September 14, 1984. She is survived by 3 daughters; Elva Martinez of Bixby, Dolores Davis of Bixby & Elisa McCombs of Grove, OK, 4 sons; Benito Cantu of Avant, OK, Santos Cantu of Tulsa, John Cantu of Rose, OK & Esauro Cantu of Tulsa, 3 sisters; Florentina Martinez, Clemencia Castillo & Maria Martinez, 2 brothers; Paul Martinez of Corpus Christi, TX & Pete Martinez of Iowa, 24 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers were Billy Hubbard, Bob Murry, David Woodard, Joe Corty, Brian Russell & Amillio Castillo.
