Joe Bob Carr was born on Aug. 29, 1930 in Cathy, Oklahoma to Cecil R. Carr & Ruby J. (Chapman) Carr. He departed this life on June 21, 2010 at his home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years, 9 months & 23 days.

Joe was retired from the City of Tulsa where he had worked many years as a water department foreman.

He leaves behind his loving wife Jeanetta, to whom he was married 57 years, 4 children, Jennie Goodell and husband Jerry of Bixby, his son Sandy who was deceased in June 1989, Paula Ahaus and husband John of Broken Arrow, & Debbie Contento and husband Fred, of North Richland Hills, TX, 7 grandchildren; Jobie, Kendall, Derrick, Tiffany, Tony, Kaylee & Amber, 11 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and good friends.

Casket bearers are Kendal Goodell, Tony Contento, Gary Moore, Fred Contento, John Ahaus & Jerry Goodell.
