LILLIAN PAULINE "MAM MAW" CASHON
Lillian Pauline "MamMaw" Cashon was born on December 31, 1917 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Anvil Earl Wood & Florence Ines (Acree) Wood. She went to be with her Lord on March 1, 2010 in Glenpool, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years, 2 months & 1 day.
Lillian was a strong Christian woman and a member of the Church of Christ. She loved the Lord and her greatest joy was reading her Bible daily. She had the heart of a servant and helped everyone she could. She dearly loved her family and friends and amazed everyone with her ability to recall names and dates. She also enjoyed crochet, needlework and the daily crossword puzzle and cryptoquote. She worked as a valued secretary and assistant for the Leonard Funeral Home for many years and held the distinction of being the only person to have worked for three of the four owners of the funeral home since it's beginning. She was a dedicated, loyal, loving and giving person and will be dearly missed by all that had the privilege of knowing her.
She married Ralph Cashon, Sr. on December 21, 1936 and after almost 50 years of wonderful marriage, he preceded her in death on September 7, 1986. She was also preceded by their only son, Ralph Cashon, Jr. on August 29, 1995 as well as by her two brothers; Odie Burl Wood & Hardie Wood and her sister; Willie Simmons.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law; Sue Cashon Gilbert of Broken Arrow, 4 grandchildren; David Cashon and wife Susie, of Ponca City, Steve Cashon and wife Tisha, of Mounds, Leasa Mulkey and husband Chris, of Glenpool & Scott Cashon and wife Keri, of Bixby, 10 great-grandchildren; Aaron Mulkey and wife Lindsay, Misty Mulkey Eichler and husband Jay, Michael Cashon, Lindsey Cashon Techanchuk and husband Andrew, Casey Cashon, Lauren Cashon, Holly Cashon, Cari Cashon, Kaylee Cashon & Karlee Cashon, 4 great-great-grandchildren; Lainey Addyson Eichler, Rhys Aliene Mulkey, Madelyn Avery Techanchuk & Rhet Christopher Mulkey and several other relatives, church family and good friends.
Casket bearers are Fred Keas, Jerry Morgan, Ron Redding, John Farrar, Wendell Tenison & Mike Marker.
