Jesse Chairez was born on March 2, 1987 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Florentino & Marina (Cruz) Chairez. He passed from this life on August 21, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 21 years, 5 months & 19 days.

Jesse was a member of the Bixby High School graduating class of 2006. He was a very accomplished artist and shortly after graduation, he moved to the Los Angeles, California area to attend a prestigious Art Institute. He was very talented in many different types of art but he especially loved animation art and had even begun to make an animation film. He lived a short walk from the beach in Santa Monica and became an avid surfer while he lived there. He was a big fan of football and loved being involved in the fantasy football leagues each year and playing football video games. He was always the most comfortable when he was hanging out with his friends and will be remembered for living his all too brief life to the fullest.

He is survived by his loving and devoted parents; Florentino & Marina Chairez of Bixby, 3 brothers; Adrian of Bixby, Flo and wife Jamie, of Bixby & Hijinio of Bixby, 3 sisters; Amauri Bejarano and husband Julio, of Tulsa, Joanna of Bixby & Angelina of Bixby, 1 niece; Fiona, 5 nephews; Julio, Pete, Salvador, Eric & Shane as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and very good friends.

Casket bearers were Montgomery Freeman, Corey Hood, Gerad Crosswy, Cody Edwards, Josh Johnson, Logan Janes, Derek Parcell, Teddy Andrews & Levi Lee.
