Flora Darling Cline

Flora Darling Cline passed from this life on April 16, 2011 at St Francis Hospital after a short illness. Flora was born on February 24, 1939 in Tulsa, OK to Fred and Edna (Bradford) Lortz and mostly raised in Jenks, OK. She was 72 years old and retired from Wal-Mart with 24 years of service. In 1975, she married Ed Cline and they lived most of their married life in Haskell, OK. She was a member of Central Church of Christ in Haskell. Flora loved her family dearly and was always there for them. She was a past owner and operator of Country Corner Restaurant in Haskell, where many people remember her great cooking. She operated the business from 1980 - 1983.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, June Eason and one nephew, Keifer Eason. She is survived by her husband Ed of the home, one son, Donald Hayes, Jr. and his wife, Terrye, of Haskell, three grandchildren, Amie Williams and husband Garrett of Bixby, Audrie Reed and husband Jason of Tulsa, and Donald Hayes, III of Haskell, three great-grandchildren, Grace and Wyatt Williams and Karsen Reed. She is also survived by two sisters, Linda Willerton and husband Cletus of Haskell and Freida Robertson and husband Don of Tulsa and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Flora was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wonderful sister. Flora loved her family and loved being around her children, grandchildren and especially the "babies", her great-grandchildren. She was always ready to assist in keeping her grandchildren and loved family gatherings. We will miss her loving and selfless heart, her smile and caring disposition.

Services will be at the Central Church of Christ in Haskell on Friday, April 22 at 10 am with Del Cox and Henry Petree officiating. Burial will be at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.

Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Dowdy Funeral Home, Haskell, Oklahoma.
