Peggy Maxine (Wagnon) Cooper was born on March 26, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ted Berle & Dona Rachel (Cone) Wagnon. She passed from this life on June 28, 2007 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 3 months & 2 days.

Peggy Maxine had been a resident of the Bixby community for virtually all of her life. She worked many years as a secretary and bookkeeper for Wagnon Construction Company. She was an active and dedicated member of the Midwest Agape Chapel and served her Lord in many ways such as volunteering with the Angel Food Ministries, the Ezra House in Haskell, accompanying the youth as a counselor at church camps and being involved for many years in prison ministry. She also loved going to garage sales, or as she called it, "antiquing", knitting, crocheting, tending to her flowers, gardening and watching and feeding the birds.

She married Robert Lee Cooper on June 10, 1950 in Mounds, Oklahoma and after more than 55 years together, he preceded her in death on September 11, 2005. She was also preceded by 1 daughter and her family; Charlotte Ann McCaslin, Michael Leon McCaslin, Tonya Michelle McCaslin & Christopher Michael McCaslin, 1 brother; Olen Dean Wagnon and 1 sister; Carol Sue Wagnon. She is survived by 1 daughter; Chyrel Cooper of Haskell, 1 son; Terry Cooper and wife Judy, of Bixby, 1 brother; Norm Wagnon and wife Carolyn, of Bixby, 1 sister; Barbara Smith and husband Larry, of Robertsdale, Alabama, 4 grandchildren; Heather Cooper, Stephenie Brown and husband Tim, Terra Cooper & Andrea Cooper, 2 great-grandchildren; Owen Christopher Cooper & Barrett William Brown and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers were Ryan Wagnon, Greg Wagnon, Randy Wagnon, Tim Brown, Don Smith & Kimberly Kennard. Honorary bearers were Rick Wagnon, Jeff Wagnon, Charlie Wagnon, Tony Smith & Tilton Brown.
