Bryan Leon Cowan was born on October 17, 1969 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Paul Andrew Cowan and Shirley Jean (Nunnery) Cowan. He passed from this life on April 8, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 41 years, 5 months & 22 days.

Bryan had lived many years in the Tahlequah and Sapulpa communities before moving to Bixby recently. He formerly worked as a corrections officer at the David L. Moss facility in Tulsa and had been working more recently for Avalon Corrections. When he was not working, he loved playing his guitar, singing and riding motorcycles but his favorite activity was always spending time with his kids.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Dawn (Turner) Cowan whom he married on March 17, 2007 in Sapulpa. He is also survived by his mother; Shirley Jean Cowan of Sapulpa, 4 children; Corbin Cowan, Kody Bullard-Cowan, Kimberly Bullard-Cowan & Kelsey Bullard-Cowan and several good friends and other relatives.
