RUTH CRUMBLISS

Mary Ruth Crumbliss was born on February 24, 1930 in Salina, Oklahoma to Alonzo Noah Foster & Nellie (Price) Foster. She passed from this life on August 3, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 5 months & 10 days.

Ruth had lived in this area since 1974. She will be remembered as a very loving and devoted homemaker that enjoyed quilting and crocheting. While her family was always the most important thing in her life, she was also very dedicated and active within the First Baptist Church of Bixby. When she moved to her home in Sand Plum, she also was one of the founding members of the Sunday School group that studied on Sunday mornings before the church services.

She married Leonard Crumbliss on June 12, 1948 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and after more than 54 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on July 13, 2002. She was also preceded by 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by 2 sons; Larry Crumbliss and wife Linda, of Drumright, OK & Lonny Crumbliss of Broken Arrow, 1 brother; Kenneth Foster and wife Margie, of San Antonio, TX, 2 grandsons; Greg Crumbliss of Tulsa & Brian Crumbliss of Edmond, 2 great-grandchildren; Chance & Sarai Crumbliss as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
