NINA MAY DELCOURE
Nina May Delcoure was born on May 29, 1920 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Henry Edward Kreager & Mabel (Howell) Kreager. She passed from this life on March 10, 2010 in Liberty Mounds, Oklahoma at the age of 89 years, 9 months & 9 days.
Nina had lived in the Liberty Mounds community since 1961. She had worked over 20 years as a cashier for the Sipe's Grocery Store in Tulsa before working as a cook in the Liberty School Cafeteria for several years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Quilting Club at Duck Creek Church. She will be remembered for her good cooking, her love of working the Tulsa World crossword puzzles and especially for her devotion to her grandchildren.
She married Everett Delcoure on September 9, 1957 in Miami, OK and after almost 35 years of marriage, he preceded her in death in June, 1992. She was also preceded by her parents, 2 sons; William Edward Jones & Ronald Eugene Delcoure and an infant sister.
She is survived by 1 son; Hoss Delcoure and wife Donna, of Liberty Mounds, 6 grandchildren; Cindi Albright and husband Jim, of Highland Village, TX, Heather Tombelson and husband David, of Portland, OR, Justin Delcoure and fiancé Cara, of Liberty Mounds, Lindsey Hunter and husband Quinn, of Liberty Mounds, Laci Jones and fiancé Jad, of Ponca City, OK & Brett Jones and wife Treysa, of Wichita, KS, 7 great-grandchildren; Autumn, Christopher, Lucas, Riley, Jake, Addison & Jacob, 9 great-great-grandchildren; Haley, Haven, Paisley, Sterling, Park, Presli, Will, Caleb & Joshua, her daughter-in-law; Pat Jones of Liberty Mounds and several other relatives and friends.
