Billie Jo Denney was born on August 29, 1934 in Bixby, Oklahoma to William Leonard & Mary (Lane) Ellis. She passed from this life on May 29, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years and 9 months.

Billie Jo grew up in Bixby and was a graduate of Bixby High School. She worked for several years as a nurse's aide at the Skyline and Four Seasons nursing homes and also at St. John's Hospital.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Dan Patrick Denney, whom she married on September 28, 1973 in Tulsa, as well as by 2 children; Lucky Bebee and his wife Sheila, of Muskogee and LaDonna Berry and her husband David, of Owasso, 2 step-children; Pat Denny and his wife Jody & Marie Livezey and her husband David, 5 sisters; Connie Edwards and husband Herschel, Audrey Morgan and husband Vernon, Gerlene Roberts and husband Ralph, Debbie Root and husband Robert & Paula Canady and husband Larry, 3 brothers; Butch Ellis and wife Jeanette, Leonard Dale Ellis and wife Cathy & Larry Don Ellis and wife Kathy, 12 grandchildren; Brittnie Driver and husband Shawn, Keenan & Glamour Berry, Jason, Barron, Tyeson, Bronson & Tanner Bebbe, Arron & Alysa Livezey and Ashly & Aubrey Denney, 2 great-grandchildren; Madyson & Raylee Driver and many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister; Sissy Savage, 1 son; Floyd Dale Bebee and a niece; Sheila Waltrip.

Casket bearers were Vernon Morgan, Herschel Edwards, Ralph Roberts, Larry Wayne Canady, Lawrence Edwards, Chris Ritter, Justin Malone & Robby Malone. Music was provided by Tabitha Kelley.
