Leroy James Dunsmore was born on May 24, 1939 in Davenport, Oklahoma to Charles H. Dunsmore & Clara Nancy (Tackett) Dunsmore. He passed from this life on August 24, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years and 3 months.

Leroy had lived in this area most of his life. He was a member of the 1957 graduating class of Cushing High School. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the Air National Guard. He worked many years in the printing industry and was the owner of Dunsmore Enterprises. He was a longtime member of Riverview Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and also taught Sunday School. He was an avid reader and a very devoted fan of the University of Oklahoma Sooners.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother; Johnnie Dunsmore.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 50 years, Donna J. (Russell) Dunsmore, whom he married on November 1, 1958 in Gravette, Arkansas. He is also survived by 1 daughter; Lori Ranford and husband Robert, of Glenpool, 2 sons; Steve Dunsmore and wife Linda, of Broken Arrow & Mark Dunsmore and wife Cynthia, of Tulsa, 1 brother; Leon Dunsmore and wife Linda, of Tulsa, 7 grandchildren; Steve Dunsmore Jr. and wife Carrie, Jennifer Dunsmore, Ashley Ranford, Caleb Ranford, Carrie Dunsmore, Emma Dunsmore & Levi Dunsmore, 2 great-grandchildren; Lilly & Madison, 3 nephews; Mike, Dunsmore, Rod Dunsmore & Jimmy Dunsmore, 1 niece; Lara Salinas as well as several other relatives and good friends.

Casket bearers are Gary Bell, Jim Rader, Lee Pridgeon, Darrell Wilson, Don Fann, Darrell McCain, Charles Jefferson, Jim Etchieson & Carroll Judd.
