Ann Marie Glidewell was born on June 29, 1924 in Alton, Illinois. She joined her husband in heaven on July 25, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma 26 days after her 83rd birthday.

Ann Marie had lived in Broken Arrow since 1975. She had worked many years as a waitress and housekeeper. The work that she loved the most was that of a Sunday School teacher. She taught many children over the years while serving at Eastwood Baptist, Oneida Road Baptist and Church on the Way. She had recently become a member of Haikey Park Baptist Church which she joined on Mother's Day. In addition to her church work and teaching Sunday School, she also enjoyed music and loved doting on her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Glidewell on February 10, 1997. She leaves behind 1 daughter; Connie Tothill of Bixby, 1 step-son; Nathan Glidewell of Broken Arrow, 6 grandchildren; Gary Glidewell, Randy Glidewell, Saundra Burrus, Shawn Reed, Kelley Hinkle and Darrin Reed, 7 great-grandchildren; Keith, Stevie-Rae, Krysta, Samuel, Blake, Cody & Alyssa and one great-great-grandchild, Cameron Ham.

Casket bearers were Darrin Reed, Keath Flohr, Samuel Allen, Brent Allen, Paul Hinkle & Blake Johnson. Music was provided by Samuel Allen, Stevie-Rae Ham, Erica Reed, Cody Reed & Darrin Reed.
