Charlene (Grimes) Head was born on April 17, 1951 in Beggs, Oklahoma to Herbert & Donis Marie (Finchum) Grimes.. She passed from this life on July 24, 2010 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 3 months & 7 days.

Charlene was employed by Bama Pie Companies for over 39 years. She was devoted to her only child, Gary Head II and also had a passion for working hard, taking great care of her dog "Bubba" and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Paul (D.P.) Grimes.

She is survived by her son, Gary Phillip Head II and wife Carlie, of Bixby, one brother, Jerry "Jake" Crider and wife Sharon "Kay", of Stella, MO, one sister, Linda "Susie" Stacy and husband Jim, of Henryetta, OK, three nieces, Gina Grimes and friend Jeffrey Frank, of Okmulgee, OK, Jennifer Germany and husband Brad, of Natchez, MS and Lora Grimes of Los Angeles, CA, a great-nephew, Zachary Grimes, two great-nieces, Reagan & Adisyn Germany as well as all her many friends and co-workers at the Bama Pie Companies.
