Gloria Lea Hill

Gloria Lea Hill was born on March 8, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Leamon Christopher & Ruby (Patterson) Cobb. She passed from this life on March 23, 2008 in Glenpool, Oklahoma, 15 days after her 74th birthday.

Gloria had lived in this area virtually all of her life. She was a graduate of Bixby High School and a member of the Liberty Baptist Chapel. She was well known for raising exotic birds and also greatly enjoyed making crafts, crocheting, quilting and teaching ceramics at the Community Center. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.

She married Floyd T. Hill on May 31, 1952 in Bixby and after more than 36 years of marriage, he preceded her in death on January 17, 1989. She was also preceded by her parents and a half-brother; Harold D. Cobb. She is survived by 2 sons; David Hill and wife Jolene, of Ventura, California & Charles Hill and wife Sheila, of Liberty Mounds, 1 daughter; Karen Miller and husband Charles, of Bixby, 1 brother; Bill Cobb of Oregon, 7 grandchildren; Heather Hill, Tony, Matt, Travis & Jesse Hill, Jeffrey Brown & Michael Pryor, 7 great-grandchildren; Cody, Cooper, Chloe, Ethan, Sydney, Charlie & Riley and several other relatives and good friends.
