William G. "Bill" Hinton was born on February 14, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Arthur & Juanita (Schuster) Hinton. He passed from this life on October 18, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 8 months & 4 days.

"Bill" was a longtime resident of the Liberty Mounds community and was a graduate of Liberty High School. He worked as a welder for the Dresser-Rand Company. When he was not working, he loved race cars and was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt, watching western movies, especially those with John Wayne and listening to George Jones music.

He is survived by his 2 daughters; Donna Hinton of Glenpool & Angela Ethridge of Mounds, 1 son; Rodney Hinton of Haskell, 5 grandchildren; Blake Ethridge, Hannah Ethridge, Desirae Bolton, Dallas Bolton & Lacee Clark, a sister-in-law; Norma Hinton of Liberty Mounds and several other family members and good friends.
