We are deeply sadden by the sudden depart of our beloved friend Jerry. He will be deeply missed and we will cherish his belief in God and his son Jesus Christ, his memories and best of all his smiling face and his encouraging words of godly wisdom. May God continue to hold you and your family in his loving arms and lean on him in your time of need.
As I (Lindar) told my children about his death all the kids talked about was how Jerry played with them and taught them many of things, it would have joyed his heart to hear those kids talk about him and what he had done or taught them.He was a very special person in my kids and my life.He was always sharing the love of God,and he will forever live in our hearts. We loved him very much and we will continue to let the love Jerry shared to flow on in Jesus name.Hold on to those special memories and know he is in God's Hand know.

I am so saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. He was such a bright light at our school, and being around him always lifted my spirits. I will always treasure the memory of Jerry working in the cafeteria sweeping or in the halls and hearing him whistle as he worked. When he was not here, his presence was missed. I've only known him since March, but when I first met him, I knew immediately that he had a deep and sustaining faith. He often was a grounding presence when things got hectic in the kitchen. I always knew he was lifting me up in prayer whenever I asked him to do so. The children at Clark will miss Jerry, also. He always talked to the kids and was gentle and firm when they needed correcting. My children especially enjoyed playing catch with the football with Jerry before school each morning. They often commented on what a "cool, fun guy" Jerry is. I am thankful that I was privileged to know Jerry. His strong faith before and during his illness bolstered my faith and hope and that hope will endure. Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the sweet life of Jerry!! ...
