Walsie Jean Hoyle was born on March 9, 1913 in Bixby, Oklahoma to John & Flora (Cates) Willis. She passed from this life on June 23, 2007 in Glenpool, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years, 3 months & 14 days.

Walsie had lived in the Bixby community for virtually all of her life. She worked on the aircraft assembly line during World War II. After the war, she worked at many different jobs over years. She was a longtime member of the Regular Baptist Church. Her family will warmly remember her loves of going to church, cooking, walking and working.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wheeler Hoyle on February 19, 1975 as well as by 1 brother and 1 sister. She is survived by 1 son; Merle Johnson and wife Lucy Earp, of Bixby, 2 grandchildren; Teresa Null and husband Woody, of Collinsville & Randy Brown and wife Jan, of Mounds, 4 great-grandchildren; Trevor, Tanna, Josh & Jenny, 2 great-great-grandchildren; Kyle & Bryar, 1 nephew; Richard Willis of Premont, TX and 1 niece; Nancy Curry of Wagoner.
