Virginia Ann "Gini" Hudspeth was born on October 28, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Amos E. & Mae (Lyon) Layne. She passed from this life on October 7, 2008 at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 11 months & 9 days.

"Gini" had lived in this area most of her life. She had worked many years as a nurse in both hospitals and hospice organizations. She was a longtime member of the St. James United Methodist Church and was very proud to serve in the church choir for several years. She was a life member of the American Quarter Horse Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Harold "Huddy" Hudspeth.

She is survived by several family members and many good friends.

Honorary casket bearers were Mike Cox, Bob Froning, Tommy Atkins, Paul Turner, Eddie Crow, Matthew Duell & Rick Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. James United Methodist Church or the St. Francis Hospice.
