JESSE FRANKLIN HUNTER
Jesse Franklin Hunter was born on March 18, 1920 in Miller, Missouri to George Elmer Hunter & Ella Verna (Hobbs) Hunter. He passed from this life on January 28, 2009 in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years, 10 months & 10 days.
"Jess" had lived in the Tulsa area most of his life. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II and also proud to have been a member of the American Legion where he also served as a two time Commander. "Jess" will be remembered as a Wheeler/Dealer and Jack of All Trades. He was involved in auctioneering, thoroughbred horses, flea markets, western wear, auto accessories and hub caps and used car sales. He lived life fully and will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 1 sister and former wives, Ruth & Betty. He is survived by 3 daughters; Ella May Copeland of Independence, MO, Joy Ann Tanner of Dallas, TX & Cora L. Roper of Owasso, 1 step-daughter; Susie Sasso of Norman, OK, 8 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Helen Potter and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
