Warnie Lee Hunter was born on January 17, 1936 in Bixby, Oklahoma to Matt Sheeley & Mattie Lee (Dickson) Sheeley. She passed from this life on April 11, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 2 months & 25 days.

Warnie grew up in the Bixby community and was a graduate of Bixby High School. She was very devoted to her family and worked many years as a bookkeeper for the family pool business. She was very active and dedicated to auto racing for many, many years and also loved to bowl. She was especially meticulous when it came to her yard work and her housekeeping.

She was preceded in death by 4 sisters; Ida, Mattie Caroline & Anna Sue, a granddaughter; Tiffany and a great-grandson; Christian.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harvey Lee Hunter whom she married on September 25, 1954 in Jenks, Oklahoma as well as by 2 sons; Kevin Hunter of Tulsa & Kenneth Hunter and wife Melissa, of Tulsa, 2 daughters; Karen Keeton of Tulsa & Kathy Schuler and husband Kevin, of Sapulpa, 1 sister; Zella Skidmore of Jenks, 5 grandchildren; Sheila, Donna, Harvey, Carl & Amber, 6 great-grandchildren; Michael, Ashley, Dougie, Natalee, McKenzie & Alyssa and several other relatives and good friends.
