Grace Helen Jones was born on November 12, 1909 in Gravelly, Arkansas to J.C. Thornton & Fannie (St. Vgine) Thornton. She passed from this life on August 8, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 99 years, 8 months & 27 days.

Grace moved to the Bixby area in the 1940's and had been a resident of the area since that time. She was a devoted homemaker that will be warmly remembered for her good cooking as well as the competitive nature she showed when playing "Wahoo". She worshipped at the Shellenbarger Free Will Baptist Church.

She married Paul Jones on February 22, 1930 in Gravelly, Arkanas and after more than 51 years together, he preceded her in death on September 30, 1981. She was also preceded by 1 daughter; Patricia Faye Bradshaw, 1 son; Bill Gene Jones and 8 siblings; Lois Thornton, Edna Stewart, Emma Jones, Veotta Dowler, Flonnie Lovitt, Coma Sears, Earl Raymond Thornton & Minnie Pearl Thornton.

She is survived by 1 sister; Flo Thomas of Portland, TX, 4 grandchildren; Ramona Woollard, Lisa Zerby, Eric Jones & Bryan Jones, 1 great-grandson; Paul Woollard, 1 son-in-law; Ed Bradshaw of Kellyville, 1 daughter-in-law; Norma Jones of Sand Springs as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers are Jeff Woollard, Paul Woollard, Rick Pilgrim, Bradley Pilgrim, Jacob Pilgrim, Jack Walker & Ed Bradshaw.
