ROBERT "DAVID" LEE

Robert David Lee, known as David to his friends and family, was born on June 6, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert E. & Norma Jean (Robison) Lee. He passed from this life on September 2, 2008 in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 46 years, 2 months & 27 days.

David moved to Bixby with his family in 1968 and attended Bixby Public Schools. David loved music, and was an active member who sang in the youth choir at Riverview Baptist Church. He was selected as a member of the Spartones vocal ensemble all four years of high school, and also played the role of Curly in the musical Oklahoma. David received a music scholarship to N.E.O. in Miami, and after graduating in 1980, was selected as a member of the Meister Singers, a prestigious singing group who toured and sang for special events. After his time at college, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served as a Boiler Tech 2nd Class. After leaving the Navy, he worked as a plumber and was employed with Total Plumbing at the time of his death. David had a passion for music. He loved to sing and play his guitar, and could be found doing so at any time of the day or night. David also loved to dance. He never lacked for a dance partner in school because he was one of the very few boys that really knew how to dance. David also loved his family. He coached a bowling team for his children when they were young, and loved spending time with them. David also loved his parents, sisters, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He will be truly missed by those who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his loving parents; Bob & Jean Lee of Bixby, 2 daughters; Rebecca Nicole Lee of the home, & Shanna Marie Wadriski of Tulsa, 2 sons; Zachary Marshall Lee of the home, & Joel Jones of Maryland, 2 sisters; Beverly Mashburn of Coffeyville, Kansas, and Joy Eubank and her husband, Steve of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
