Betty Lou Legrand was born on May 25, 1938 in Jenks, Oklahoma to Gilbert Reno & Hazel (Winn) Reno. She passed from this life on March 24, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70 years, 9 months & 27 days.

Betty had lived in this area for most of her life. She was the retired owner of Sapulpa Bait & Tackle and had owned and worked for many other businesses over the years. She is remembered as a very hard worker that loved to travel and also enjoyed arts & crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter; Jackie Johnson, 4 brothers and 2 grandsons; Mike Sloan & Joshua Hix.

She is survived by 2 sons; Charles Hughes and wife Marsha, of Bixby & Tommy Joe Dwinnells and wife Jamie, of Austin, TX, 2 daughters; Cheryl Hix and husband Mike, of Mounds & Patricia Pritchard of Bristow, 7 grandchildren; Cara & Michael Wallin, Mark & Charity Hughes, Rex Johnson, Jesse & Traci Hix, Joey Hix, Ashley Sloan & Daniel VanOrsdol and Jordan Hix, 7 great-grandchildren; Sable Hughes, Breeanna Hughes, Tieranan Hughes, Quinten Hughes, Lyric Wallin, Ruby Hughes & Emma Rose Hix as well as several other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers were Mark Hughes, Rex Johnson, Jesse Hix, Joey Hix, Jordan Hix & Michael Wallin.
