Laurie Lynn Lortz was born on December 24, 1966 in Buffalo, New York to John Seymour Lortz and Carol Anne (Meyers) Lortz. She passed from this life on December 22, 2011, two days before her 45th birthday.

Laurie was a resident of Tulsa and had worked as a customer service specialist for Dish Network for several years. When she was not working, she enjoyed reading, sewing, spending time with her family and playing computer games with her friends and family.

She is survived by her mother; Carol McPheeters and husband Douglas, of Santee, CA, her father; John Lortz and Debbie Mancuso, of Broken Arrow, OK, 2 sons; Mike Ramby of Tulsa & David Ramby of Broken Arrow, 4 daughters; Amanda Lortz of Tulsa, Heather Torgeson of Tulsa, Rhiannon & Samantha Torgeson both of Sapulpa, OK, 2 brothers; Matthew Lortz & Jesse McPheeters both of El Cajon, CA, 1 sister: Katie McPheeters of Santee, CA, 3 grandchildren; Ethan Hutchison, Garret Hutchison & Rayne Hayes as well as several other relatives and good friends.
