HARDEN S. LOWE
Harden S. Lowe was born on April 23, 1929 in Coalgate, Oklahoma to Joe & Ola (Gale) Lowe. He passed from this life on October 11, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 5 months & 18 days.
Harden had lived in the Bixby community for most of his life. He worked many years as a fitter for the Patterson Steel Company and later worked several years for himself by mowing and cleaning up yards for many people in and around Bixby. When he was not working, he loved going fishing, looking for antiques and "treasures", visiting with family and going out to eat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; Claude, Leland & Wylie Lowe, 2 sisters; Florence Davis & Faye Wagnon, his wife; Inez Lowe and a step-son; Gary Grodin. He is survived by 1 son; Rodney Lowe and wife Pam, of Bixby, 2 grandchildren; Jared Lowe & Heather Withem, 2 great-grandchildren; Kaden & Kamryn Withem, 5 sisters; Velma Farr of Mounds, Dorothy Thompson of Porter, Wanda Aycock of Tyler, TX, Fonda Damme of Oklahoma City & Josie Metcalf of Broken Arrow, his loving companion and best friend; Margie Scott and her 4 children; Waburn Silcox, Patricia Wilson, Joe Silcox & Douglas Sanders, her 6 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren, 2 step-sons; Terry & Steve Grodin, 2 step-grandchildren; Michael Grodin & Shannon Poynot and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Music was provided by Sonja Maddox. Casket bearers were George Roberts, Lewis Metcalf, John Edwards, Rick Edwards, Curtis Lowe & Ronnie Wagnon.
