Dennis N. Mashburn, Sr. was born on August 16, 1945 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Ancle Mashburn & May (Mahan) Mashburn. He passed from this life on April 23, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 64 years, 8 months & 7 days.

Dennis had been a well-known and respected member of the Liberty Mounds community since 1963. He worked many years as an electronics technician and also served the Lord as a Free Will Baptist minister.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son; Donald Lee "Dink" Mashburn, 1 niece; Kathy Snelson and 2 brothers-in-law; Wayne Scott & Danny Hooper.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 46 years, Shirley Mae (Christian) Mashburn whom he married on August 23, 1963 in Sand Springs. He is also survived by 4 sons; Dennis, Jerry and wife Anna, Paul and wife Janie & Steve and wife Jonnie all of Liberty Mounds, 3 brothers; Don of Sand Springs, Randy of Bixby & Gary of Tulsa, 8 sisters; Gail Scott of Sand Springs, Alice Reese of Sand Springs, Dean Snelson of Sand Springs, Joyce Jamison of Sand Springs, Jeannie Hooper of Tulsa, Glenda Howell of Oklahoma City, Sharon Denton of Sand Springs & Anita Long of Sand Springs, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers are Don Mashburn, Randy Mashburn, Gary Mashburn, David Snelson, Jake Jackson & Justin Delcoure. Honorary bearers are Trey Pugh, Glen Brown, Shorty Clay & Donovan Cotner.
