GLEN G. McCLAIN
Glen G. McClain was born on April 3, 1936 in Leonard, Oklahoma to Ezra Elbert "E.E." McClain and Bessie J. (Raye) McClain. He passed from this life on August 17, 2009 at his home in Leonard, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 4 months & 14 days.
Glen had lived in this area virtually all of his life. He had worked for the Sunray DX refinery as well as in construction for many years before he opened McClains Produce and Flowers in 1990. He was a member of the Faith Temple and served as a Church Board Member. He was a kind, loving person that cared more for others than he did for himself. He was extremely devoted to his family and was very proud to have all of his family live near him on the family farm. He loved to tell stories and never met a stranger. He was a huge O.U. Sooner fan and loved basketball and football. He also loved raising his cattle and going on pheasant hunts.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jay & Bill McClain and 1 sister; Ollie Belle Robinson.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 53 years, Ollie Mae (Morrow) McClain, whom he married on June 7, 1956 at the family farm in Leonard. He is also survived by 1 daughter; Sherry Roberts and husband George, 2 sons; Glen D. McClain and wife Judy & Henry McClain and wife Dana, all of which live on the family farm in Leonard, 3 sisters; Elector Florence of Bixby, Ozella Holloway of Tatum, New Mexico & Myrtle Lee Willis of Leonard, 7 grandchildren; Tiffany, Geordan, Ryan, Nace, Shaylen, Kris & Leslie as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Casket bearers are Geordan Roberts, Ryan McClain, Nace Roberts, Josh Gruenwald, Kippy Morrow, Rusty Morrow, Ray Wright, Wesley Moody & Tommy Moody.
