Cheesie McIntosh
Cheesie McIntosh was born on June 14, 1913 in Brush Hill, Oklahoma to Jobe & Emma (Gray) McIntosh. He passed from this life on March 5, 2007 at his home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years, 8 months & 19 days.
Cheesie retired in 1975 after working many years for the Safeway Grocery Stores warehouse at their produce manager. He attended church at the Riverview Baptist Church as well as the Bemo Indian Church and was a longtime member of the Teamsters Local #523. Some of his many hobbies included making beautiful beadwork items, fishing, working in his garden and he was an avid domino player.
He is survived by his loving wife, Estes (Pittman) McIntosh, whom he married on April 15, 1933 in Stidham, Oklahoma as well as by 1 son; Cheesie McIntosh Jr. and wife Jerre, of Wagoner, 4 daughters; Senora Nelson and husband Tommy, of Catoosa, Janetta Carr and husband Joe Bob, of Bixby, Betty Eash and husband James, of Broken Arrow & Becky Harris and husband Gary, of Tulsa, 2 brothers; Siah McIntosh of Tulsa & George McIntosh and wife Kaniah, of Muskogee, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister; Salina Lewis, 2 brothers; Luke & Chillie McIntosh and 3 grandsons; Sandy Carr, Cheesie McIntosh III & Michael Dean Rogers.
Casket bearers were Donald Carr Jr., Mark Allen Carr, Jeff McIntosh, Tracy Rogers, Tim Rogers & Kendal Goodell.
