Ted Louis Merriman was born on October 22, 1942 in Stigler, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on May 24, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 7 months & 2 days.

Ted was one of Jehovah Witnesses. He was an elder in the Bixby congregation and was baptized in 1966.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Virgil & Ida Bryant, his paternal grandparents; John & Dora Glendening, a nephew; Mark Christian & a great-nephew; Brycen Mark Harris.

He is survived by his parents; Bill & Clara Glendening of Bixby, 1 sister; Jane Naylor, 2 nieces; Wendy Naylor and her children, Macy D'Lynn & Brock Carlin all of Bixby and Nicole Harris and her husband Rusty and their son Hunter Christian of Talala, OK, his aunts; Velma Merriman of Sapulpa, Elsie Monroe and her husband David, of Bixby, Johnnie Houston of Sparta, Illinois, Betty Spencer and her husband Bill, of Ledbetter, KY, Peggy Lane of Harrison, MI & Barbara Boyd of Cape Girardeau, MO, his uncles; Clinton Bryant of Coweta, Troy Glendening and his wife Pauline, of Granite City, IL & Thomas Glendening and his wife Shawn, of Tulsa and a host of cousins & friends.

Casket bearers were Galen Monroe, Randy Monroe, Justin McCullough, Jason McCullough, Jimmy McCullough & Rusty Harris.
