Dennis Clay Metcalf was born on September 11, 1952 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Luther Clay Metcalf & Sybil Marie (Creekmore) Metcalf. He passed from this life on April 9, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years, 6 months & 29 days.

Dennis had lived in this area virtually all of his life. He worked as a Senior Engineer for the Nordam Group for the past 11 years and had previously worked for McDonnell-Douglas for 18 years. He also loved being a draftsman and drawing plans, playing the guitar and golfing.

He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Metcalf whom he married on June 25, 2000 in Bixby, his parents; Luther & Sybil Metcalf of Bixby, 2 daughters; Leslie Metcalf of the Cayman Islands & Kelly Metcalf of Tulsa, 2 sons; John Metcalf and wife Kelly Jo, of Broken Arrow & Jeff Douglas of Wichita, KS, 1 brother; Jerry Metcalf and wife Paula, of Broken Arrow, 1 sister; Kim Earp and husband Stacy Paul, of Broken Arrow and numerous other relatives and good friends.
