Jackie Joan Mize was born on December 30, 1934 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jack Dobbs & Edith (Brown) Dobbs. She passed from this life on May 1, 2009 in Tulsa at the age of 74 years, 4 months & 1 day.

Jackie grew up in the Bixby community and was a graduate of Bixby High School. She worked several years for the Byron Jackson Company as a Lead Burr Chip Grinder and worked earlier in life in area produce stands. Some of her favorite activities included crocheting, sewing, embroidery, needlepoint, cooking, making jewelry and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter; Mary Elizabeth Roberts and 2 sons; Raymond Eddy Bethany & Jack Isaac Dobbs.

She is survived by 1 daughter; Debbie Joan Lynn of Tulsa, 2 sons; Garry Roberts of Bristow & Jerry Roberts of Tulsa, 1 brother; Arville Dobbs of Skiatook, 1 sister; Edith Smith of Sand Springs, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.
