Bonnie Darlene Mize was born on September 24, 1935 in Liberty Mounds, Oklahoma to Fred Tuttle & Lillie Mae (Boyles) Tuttle. She passed from this life on July 3, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years, 9 months & 9 days.

Darlene had lived in the Liberty Mounds community virtually all of her life. While she was happy to be remembered as a loving and devoted homemaker, she had worked at many different places over the years including with her husband when they owned the Mize Grocery & Station and her son with the J&R Cleaning Service. She was a longtime member of the Duck Creek Community Church and was formerly active in the Home Extension group in Liberty. When she had time for herself, she loved to read and watch the hummingbirds around her home.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Tuttle as well as by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband J.B. Mize, whom she married over 53 years ago on December 29, 1956 in the Duck Creek Community Church. She is also survived by 1 daughter; Sherri Mize of Liberty Mounds, 1 son; Ronnie Mize of Liberty Mounds, 1 granddaughter; Whitney Mize and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.

Casket bearers are Randy Clay, Hoss Delcoure, Barbara Kirk, Melinda Smith, Roger Tuttle & Missy Young. Honorary bearers are Joyce Lovitt, Trudy Moore, Wayne Conley, Mike Tipton, Joe Boyles & Margaret Gund.
