Timothy Levi Monroe

Timothy Levi Monroe was born on November 20, 1942 in DeWitt, Michigan to Charles Paul & Anna Mary (Hoyt) Monroe. He passed from this life on August 23, 2006 at his home in Kiefer, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 9 months & 3 days.

Tim grew up in the Tulsa area and had been a resident of Kiefer since 1965. He was proud to have served his country as a member of the United States Army. His working years were spent as a machinist, primarily for the Wood Machine Co. in Tulsa. He was a longtime member of the N.R.A. and one of his favorite activities was target shooting. He also enjoyed engineering and inventing things during the many hours he spent piddling in the garage. He was a longtime coin collector and became even more active at collecting once he discovered Ebay.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Patricia J. "Pat" (Wilkins) Monroe, whom he married on November 20, 1965, as well as by 2 daughters; Paula Aldridge and husband Jeff, of Chouteau, OK & Karen Roenner and husband Uwe, of Bristow, 1 son; Brian Monroe and wife Amy, of Bristow, 1 sister; Sarah Van Winkle and husband Ronnie, of Sand Springs, 3 brothers; David Monroe and wife Elsie, of Bixby, Danny and wife Gay, of Seneca, Missouri & Jimmy and wife Sally, of Ketchum, 2 grandchildren; Kyle & Hailey Roenner and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Casket bearers were Jim Warrington, Larry Sanders, Randy Monroe, Scott Edwards, Jeff Aldridge & Uwe Roenner.
