Betty Louise Fulks Moore
Betty Louise Fulks Moore was born on February 19, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Acy & Opal (Bradshaw) Fulks. She passed from this life on September 6, 2006 at her home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 73 years, 6 months & 18 days.
Betty had lived in the Bixby community virtually all of her life. While her family warmly remembers her as a loving and devoted homemaker, she also worked with her husband in the wholesale and retail greenhouse operation that they owned and operated for several years. She was a longtime, faithful member of the Bixby Free Will Baptist Church. She will be remembered as an excellent cook and for the love and devotion she always showed to her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Charles David Moore, whom she married on November 19, 1952 in Charleston, Arkansas as well as by 2 sons; Thomas Moore and wife Sue Ellen, of Bixby, Timothy Moore and wife Michelle Dawn, of Bixby, 1 daughter; Linda Charlene Harris and husband Tracy, of Bixby, 6 sisters; Lucille Nimmo of Broken Arrow, Carolyn Spangler of Bixby, Ruth Ann Dowler of Bixby, Bonnie Fulks of Sapulpa, Wanda Fulks of Sapulpa & Shirley Cornett of Bixby, 8 grandchildren; Lauren, Lawrence, Kristen, Mason, Dylan, Elise, David & Hunter and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 1 sister; Ruby Fulks and 2 brothers; Junior & Melvin Fulks.
Casket bearers were Lawrence Moore, Dylan Moore, Rick Dowler, Bryan Dowler, Marty Dowler & Jason Cornett. Honorary bearers were Ray Tate, Herschel Edwards, Lawrence Edwards, Johnny Bittle, Tracy Harris, Rob Dowler & Clifford Jackson. An original poem was written and recited by Lauren, Kristen & Elise Moore. Music was provided by Brenda Evans & Bob Dirtseller.
