Zelma Darline Moore

Zelma Darline Moore was born on March 27, 1916 in Oilton, Oklahoma to Grove & Bertha Collins. She passed from this life on January 11, 2007 in Checotah, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years, 9 months & 15 days.

Zelma was a longtime beautician in Drumright and Tulsa before retiring to her life as a devoted homemaker. After her retirement, she moved with her husband to New Mexico for several years where they were involved in the mining business. After they sold their mining stake, she moved back to Oklahoma and settled in Eufaula. Some of her favorite activities were sewing and cooking and she will always be remembered for having never been seen unless her hair, makeup and clothing were just right.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Moore in 1993 as well as by 2 brothers; Lee & Dewey and 2 sisters; Gaith & Sadie. She is survived by 1 son; Don Parmley and wife Janie, of Eufaula, 1 granddaughter; Shelly Parmley of Plattsburg, New York, several nieces & nephews including Larry Cummings and wife Paula, of Eufaula and a very special friend to the family; Beverly Crow of Eufaula.
