Richard Ray Morgan was born on February 26, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Oscar Vernon Morgan & Elector Vida (McClain) Morgan. He passed from this life on January 17, 2011 at his home in Bixby, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 10 months & 22 days.

Richard had lived in this area virtually all of his life. He worked many years as an estimator for Yuba and H.T.E. Heat Exchangers and also worked as a home builder and draftsman. He will be remembered for his loves of fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn (Davis) Morgan whom he married on May 3, 1968 in Bixby. He is also survived by his mother; Elector Florence of Bixby, 2 daughters; Tracey Mulkey and husband Jerry, of Bixby & Lorrie Morgan of Tulsa, 1 son; Christopher Morgan of Glenpool, 2 sisters; Debbie McLellan and husband Buddy, of Bixby & Jenny Watkins of Kansas, 3 brothers; Jerry Morgan and wife Joyce, of Bixby, Larry Morgan and wife Debbie, of Tulsa & Vernon Morgan and wife Audrey, of Leonard, 4 grandchildren; Kody Mulkey, Kale Mulkey, Jerred Mulkey & Kylee Mulkey as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.

The family asks that memorials be directed to the American Heart Association.
