Wanda Hargrove Morton was born on April 14, 1929 in Charleston, Arkansas, the fourth child of Dolphus Earl & Mary Catherine (Bumpers) Hargrove. She passed from this life on November 4, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 6 months & 21 days.

Wanda was a longtime area resident. She was a graduate of Bixby High School and had worked many years for the Shell Oil Co. as well as for Douglass Aircraft. She worshipped at the Bixby First United Methodist Church for several years before her health would not allow her to attend any longer. She will be remembered for her devotion to volunteer work and was especially happy and proud of the years she served as a "Granny" for the Sallisaw School District.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother; Kenneth Hargrove.

She is survived by her loving and caring daughter; Melissa Reed and husband Alan, of Tulsa, 3 sisters; Dorothy Compton and husband Dee, of Bixby, Addie Spivey of Tulsa & Betty Cook and husband Bob, of Broken Arrow, 1 brother; James Hargrove and wife Betty Lois, of Bixby, 1 sister-in-law; Betty Lou Hargrove of Jenks and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Casket bearers are Rusty Hargrove, Kevin Hargrove, Ken Hargrove, Brad Hargrove, Tim Hargrove & Larry Compton. Music will be provided by Luther Metcalf and Cindy Foster.
