SENORA "SANDY" McINTOSH NELSON
Senora "Sandy" McIntosh Nelson was born on June 3, 1933 in Fame Oklahoma to Cheesie McIntosh & Estes (Pittman) McIntosh. She passed from this life on June 29, 2009 at her home in Catoosa, OK, after a long courageous battle with breast cancer, 26 days after her 76th birthday.
She owned Girl Friday Secretarial Service in south Tulsa for many years. She established Eagle Precast, Inc. that she and Tommy operated for many years. So many of her friends started as business relationships but became close friends and associates. Sandy made friends of everyone she met but this was only a part of her personality. It is so difficult to summarize in words the life of someone who meant so much to those who knew her. We will all remember her for her generosity. She was always involved with helping somebody and loved by all who knew her. Knowing this precious woman was a privilege indeed and the memories she left us will never be forgotten. "Our anchor is gone, but we must sail on".
She was preceded in death by her father, Cheesie McIntosh. She is survived by her husband, of 36 years, Thomas Nelson, of Catoosa, her mother, Estes McIntosh of Bixby 1 Daughter, Robbe Grider and husband Joe of Broken Arrow. 2 Sons, Donald Carr Jr. and wife, Lisa of Broken Arrow and Mark Carr and wife, Tish of Tulsa, eight Grandchildren, six Great-grandchildren, Step children Ronnie Nelson, Eddie Nelson & Susan Rosson, Sisters, Janet Carr of Bixby, Betty Eash of Broken Arrow, Becky Harris, Tulsa and 1 brother, Cheesie, McIntosh, Jr. of Wagoner.
